When I see this picture the first thing that I think of is trouble. The reason I feel this way is because all you can see is a massive cloud of smoke over the city. This cloud creates confusion anxiety because you can’t see what is going on. You could almost say that the city is ghost like because the fog. The fog messes with your perception of all the different building in the city. You can’t tell if they are there are not or even imaginary. Finally, what I see in this picture is rage. This rage comes from the water swells and how they look upset or aggravated. All in all this picture really portrays the feeling of that day.

My first memory of 911 was driving in the car with my mother and my friend Lizzy listening to a morning talk show. As we were sitting at a stop light only 2 miles away from school, we hear across the radio something about breaking news and how a plane had just flown into one of the twin towers. The announcer kept on repeating this trying to make senses of if this was really happening. Neither my mom nor I thought that the story could be true. As soon as I arrived at school Lizzy and I were rushed into the class room where they had CNN on. Not only was the news true, but it was about to get a lot worries. As we were all engrossed with the story another tragic thing happen, the second plane flew into the other tower. All of us were very upset and could not believe what we just say. As the panic went on there were rumor flying about bombs in DC and then it happened the world trade center was hit. I became increasingly nerves because my father was a lawyer for the government and frequented the building a lot. I immediately ran to the phone and call my mother trying to see if she had spoken with him. She said she had not and that all I knew for the whole day until I finally received a call from her right before school ended say that he was fine.

That day struck everyone hearts, from the sadness to the not knowing what might happen next. Many people lost loved ones and we will never forget our memory of this day and how it affected our life.

This photo provokes fantasy. One sees the women as an angle because of her artier. I child seems as if she is going to die because of her dark clothing. It is almost as if the angle is leading the child to the entrance of heaven. This is symbolized by the door way that they are standing in. This feeling is also accomplished through the use of soft focus and filters.

What the space says about me is that I have organic and eclectic looking taste. These images also say about me that I am a very organized and clean person. Compare to the other two roommates rooms my room has a more sophisticated look to it. The finally thing I realized about the space that I thought was very instating was that everything in the space is cohesive. This is interesting to me because I am an interior designer and without even thinking about designing the space I achieved a cohesive bed room.

Concept statement

Computer sites like Face Book and My Space create segregation of young adults into groups causing discrimination and conflict among others.

Society has created groups to put labels on people. This is seen through race, social stature, behaviors, and through our appearance of clothing.

This is an ongoing issue that has not change over time. Since we make these groups we close our self’s of f to each other. People of the US are judgmental and not united, which creates bad communication among the country.
